Ostenfelde wind farm

Sometimes big changes happen in small moments. It was exactly the same with the Ostenfelde wind farm: Within one day, the entire investment offer was subscribed.

A strong sign that people are ready to take responsibility — for a clean and regional energy future. With three modern Vestas V162-6.2 wind turbines, a hub height of 162 meters and a total output of 18.6 megawatts, the Ostenfelde wind farm will generate green electricity from December 2025 — enough for thousands of households. The feed-in tariff is 9.1 ct/kWh (according to EEG including correction factor). There is more to this project than technology: 365 investors invested 1,699,000 euros and showed that the energy revolution is strongest when it is supported by many shoulders. The average age of investors is 47 years, and participation ranged from 250 to 25,000 euros. Particularly nice: The region itself also invested 69,500 euros directly from the postal code of Ostenfelde.

This not only creates electricity, but also trust, community and regional added value. The Ostenfelde wind farm proves that the future grows when people, municipalities and companies work together.
