At Prowind, solar energy not only stands for clean, sustainable energy, but also for strong regional added value and close cooperation with local people and companies. We rely on tailor-made solutions that not only integrate technological innovations, but also take into account the needs and potential of the region.
Every solar project that we implement is the result of a partnership with local stakeholders. We maintain close relationships with owners, municipalities and regional companies to ensure that local projects are supported and benefit from their use in the long term. This cooperation not only strengthens trust, but also contributes to job creation and economic stability in the region.
Holistic support from Prowind starts with the selection of a suitable area. We rely on transparent communication and a thorough analysis of environmental, legal and technical requirements to identify the best locations for photovoltaic systems. In doing so, we work closely with local authorities and companies to ensure the smooth running of project development.
During the entire implementation phase, Prowind ensures that all steps — from financing to construction and commissioning — are implemented efficiently and with the utmost care. In doing so, we attach great importance to dialogue with the region in order to take into account the needs of local communities and create long-term added value.
After commissioning, we take over full operational management and ensure that the systems always run efficiently. Our asset management ensures continuous optimization of performance and ensures that the energy generated flows reliably into the grid. In this way, Prowind remains a trustworthy partner for the region even after a project has been completed.
With every solar project, we not only contribute to the energy revolution, but also to strengthening the regional economy — responsibly, sustainably and future-oriented.
The basis for every good project At the beginning, there is the search for suitable areas for photovoltaic projects. Our scouting team uses modern geoinformation systems to analyse potential locations. In addition to solar radiation, technical, legal and ecological criteria are also taken into account. This is how we lay the foundations for sustainable projects.
Our land acquirers get in touch with the owners of the identified areas and negotiate fair, long-term use contracts. In doing so, we rely on regional expertise, sensitivity and transparent communication. Detailed location analyses are carried out in the subsequent project development. This includes reviews of planning requirements, network connection, soil conditions and freedom from shading. We develop an individual plant layout and review approval aspects at an early stage. We also attach great importance to dialogue with the public: participation offers, information events and transparent communication strengthen trust in the region.
Detailed planning begins with a secure area and a positive site assessment. We obtain environmental reports, coordinate with the relevant authorities and prepare the necessary permit documents. The project concept includes the technical layout of the photovoltaic system, the exact positioning of the modules and inverters, as well as the design of the development and grid connection. Aspects of nature and species protection are included in the planning as well as possible compensatory measures. The aim is a project ready for approval that is ecologically responsible and economically viable.
Our finance department ensures that every project has solid financial foundations. This includes the development of a financing model, the preparation of all documents for contacting banks, the credit check and securing financing (financial close). It is financed by a project company (SPV), which is repaid from the solar park's future income. The stability of these cash flows is ensured through feed-in tariffs or direct marketing contracts. This creates trust among all parties involved and enables a stable, regionally based energy supply.
Our construction department is responsible for tendering and awarding construction services, organises the delivery of the components and supervises all construction phases on site. This includes earthwork, cable installation, installation of solar modules and connection to the power grid. Close coordination between participating trades, owners, municipalities and specialist departments ensures a smooth construction process. Situational adjustments are implemented quickly and pragmatically. Once successfully connected to the grid, the solar park goes into operation.
