Prowind at the Lower Saxony summer festival in Berlin

“Das ist groß”: discussing the future of the energy transition

Under the new Lower Saxony slogan “Das ist groß” (“That's big”), representatives from politics, business and society came together at the summer festival of the Lower Saxony State Representation in Berlin. Prowind was also there and took the opportunity to discuss the future of the energy transition, regional value creation and sustainable energy supply.

“The new slogan sums up what matters: big ideas, big opportunities and big responsibility for the future,” says Prowind Managing Director Johannes Busmann. “The energy transition is a key building block for strengthening regions, making energy supply sustainable and at the same time advancing nature and climate protection.”

As a company from Lower Saxony, Prowind has been committed to expanding renewable energy for more than 25 years. Alongside climate-friendly energy supply, the focus is on developing rural regions and working closely with municipalities, landowners and citizens.

The summer festival offered a good platform to discuss the contribution of renewable energy to the economic development of Lower Saxony and Germany. The expansion of wind and solar energy creates regional value, strengthens security of supply and supports the achievement of climate targets.

Prowind was delighted with the many conversations and the exchange with partners and decision-makers from all over Germany – entirely in the spirit of the new Lower Saxony motto: “Das ist groß.”
