At Prowind, we are celebrating 25 years of commitment to wind energy, sustainability and renewable energy. This summer, everything in Bad Bentheim was dedicated to our 25th company anniversary. A very special day for our management and team, on which we looked back together with partners and guests, but above all celebrated the future of wind power.
The anniversary celebration took place at the place where the first ideas about wind power and sustainable energy supply were born 25 years ago: at the Busmann farm in Bad Bentheim, right next to the first wind turbines in an atmospherically decorated marquee. There we welcomed colleagues, companions and supporters from Osnabrück and the entire region.
Company founder Johannes Busmann opened the event with emotional anecdotes from the early years. By looking at our successes, he made it clear that Prowind stands for progress, team spirit and real change in the area of renewable energy.
This was followed by exciting talks with managing directors Johannes Busmann and Thomas Berens as well as politicians and energy experts on the topics of wind power, current challenges of the energy transition and sustainability. An inspiring keynote by future thinker and author of the book “Zukunft 4.1 - Why we only digitally save the world, or not at all” Jörg Heynkes rounded off the program.
A highlight of the celebration was also a visit to one of our wind turbines right next to the party tent. Our operations management team showed us what it's like to experience modern wind energy up close. After we had conquered the grill buffet and the vegan specialties together, people toasted, danced and laughed. Some people were also active at the soccer table and at the table tennis table. An unforgettable evening full of energy, exchange and good humor.
We would like to thank everyone who celebrated our company anniversary with us. Backed by 25 years of success story, we are motivated to look to the future with the clear goal of further expanding wind power and shaping a sustainable energy future together with strong partners — in Bad Bentheim, Osnabrück and far beyond.
