New face in management: Thomas Berens becomes Co-Managing Director at Prowind

February 20, 2025 — Prowind GmbH is preparing for the future: Thomas Berens has been strengthening the company's management team since January 1, 2025. Together with founder and owner Johannes Busmann, he will form the new dual leadership at Prowind in the future.

In his new role, Berens is primarily responsible for business development and will actively shape the strategic development of the company. The graduate environmental scientist has been part of the Prowind team since 2017 and most recently headed the Department of Project Development. There, he successfully supervised and co-designed numerous wind and solar projects.

With his expertise, many years of experience in project development and his regional roots — he comes from the county of Bentheim — Berens has the best conditions to further advance Prowind on the path to a sustainable energy future.
