The Prowind team once again took part in the 12th Zoo Charity Run at Osnabrück Zoo. Many employees took on the three- or ten-kilometre course, supporting social projects in the Osnabrück region.
A total of 1,210 runners took part in this year's charity run, the highest number of participants since the event premiered in 2013. The special route through Osnabrück Zoo and the shared commitment to a good cause once again made the run a special occasion for the region.
Commitment to social projects in Osnabrück
Under the motto “Running for life”, the proceeds and entry fees of the charity run go to important social and charitable projects. This year, the net proceeds will be shared equally between the association Sportler 4 a Childrens World (s4acw) and the language support project “Learning German at the Zoo”.
Both initiatives do valuable work for children and young people and promote social participation and education in the region.
Prowind supports the Zoo Charity Run with a waffle stand
In addition to the sporting achievements on the course, Prowind was also involved in the finish area. At the popular Prowind waffle stand, employees served fresh waffles to the participants after the run.
Once again, the stand became a popular meeting point for runners and visitors to the charity run.
Taking responsibility together
As a company with strong regional roots, it goes without saying for Prowind to support local initiatives and events. Every year, the Zoo Charity Run shows how much can be achieved when people get active together.
